Big Mistake: A Sims 3 Legacy (Gen 1)

A legacy about the huge mistakes several sims make and how they spend their lives fixing them.

Generation One: Sasha Taylor
Narrator: Catherine Taylor (heir's sister)
Big Mistake: Murder
Place of Residence: A country house in Appaloosa Plains

Meet Sasha.  She killed her romantic interest.  Why?  Getting to that.  Don't expect much.

But first, meet my sister: Sasha Taylor.  She is calm, clever, airy, and kindly disposed of norm.  Though she is a little odd, most would label her "strange, but harmless".  What brought such a 'charming' young lady to murder her beau?

Sasha and I just moved out together.  We left our home (an hour's drive from civilization for a suburban town where Cass and I could pursue our racing career.

(Also, meet Cass)

The first thing Sasha did was buy a cat. She always wanted one. Our parents never liked the idea. I was indifferent.  My horse, however, took to grey-speckled Pepper immediately.

Second, Sasha went for a jog. She picked up a stray cat along the way and named him Rapido, the Spanish word for speed (since she met him while running, I suppose? Her sense of humor has always eluded me).

We messed around until late that night. I went to bed. I like things simple, quiet, easy.

Sasha, however, went to a dive-bar. She ordered a Big Mistake and next thing she knew was dancing on the countertop.

Enter this guy.

She bought him a drink.  He smiled.  Worse, he smiled charmingly.

(Sasha's heart: *flutter, flutter*)
Benjamin: Sure!  I'd love a good Big Mistake.  By the way, you've got some moves.
(Sasha's heart: *siiiiiiiigh*)
Sasha: (interrupting Sasha's heart) You've gotta go with the flow, you know?  That's what dancing's all about.  Come to think of it, that's what life's all about, too.  Tune into the universe and it'll tune into you.
Benjamin: *entranced* I've got a party in an hour.  Wanna come?
(Sasha's Mind: FATE.)
Sasha: Yeah.  Let's go.  We'll have a blast.  I even packed my formal wear and two ponytail-holders.

I would not be surprised if Benjamin shouted "Awesome!" with his hazel eyes sparkling.  He seems the type.

Before the party they picked up some pillows to pass the time.

Sasha rubbed a knot out of his shoulders, one that had been bothering him for a while. She pulled on her formal wear and, at last, the music started.

Sasha: I love cats. I really, really love cats.
Benjamin: Aw, I miss pets. My dog died.
Sasha: I have pets--two cats. I found one as a stray on my doorstep. He decided to come along with me. In the big web of life, you can't unwind a thread once it's woven in without destroying the tapestry. I couldn't leave him there, not when he joined me in my walk of this world so eagerly.
Benjamin: You're deep, woman.
Sasha: I love cats.

They danced the night away--

Benjamin: Hey, did I mention you had moves yet?

--Like a cat, Sasha takes the first whiff she gets of someone's scent very seriously--

(Sasha's heart: *thump thump*)

--In the end he sat with Sasha under the stars, pointing out all the catlike constellations he could spot between the shredded clouds.

She came home and slept all morning, which was unusual. Sasha has always been a morning person. Rapido wanted her to wake up. He sat at her bedside, waiting.

...and waiting...

Cass and I rode out all morning and I loved it. I enjoy my horse's company far more than most people's. People talk too much.

Sasha discovered a martial art stand and decided to renew her practice. This will come in handy later.

Meanwhile, Rapido and Pepper decided their mutual affection.

Our little home was overrun with kittnes. Sasha was, of course, delighted. (I was peeved. I'd hoped to breed some foals of my own, but now that our house had the full eight members I wasn't allowed to exceed it. Why this strange overpowering law exists I do not know.)

On another note, Benjamin wasn't returning Sasha's calls. She was confused and certain he enjoyed her company. She couldn't understand why he would not 'accept their destiny'.

Sasha: Catherine, I don't understand. Our paths crossed out of the weave of the very throbbing life-force of destiny itself--
Me: You mean alcohol?
Sasha: Why won't he call me back? Pepper and Rapido hadn't consummated when I met him. Now there are kittens! Kittens!
Me: *shrugs* She was only pregnant for three days.
Sasha: (surprised) Really? Hm. It felt like so much longer. Ahh, such is the way of the world! Well, call me, don't call me, Benjamin! I enjoyed our brief moments. *sniff, sniff*

Sasha mastered her might.

Cass won a race, thus financing my sister's five cats. (Five cats. By god. Five. Why couldn't she be an equestrian?)

Enter this girl.

Now things get messy.
